Violet Skies: If I Saw You Again

The debut album by the Welsh singer is out now.

After years of releasing singles and EPs, Violet Skies has dropped her debut album, If I Saw You Again. The Welsh singer, who has written songs for the likes of Diana Ross and Mabel, has finally created her own full-length record with songs about break-ups, insecurities, and even death.

Skies’ voice takes center stage against a stripped-down production, becoming the most vital characteristic of the record. Acoustic guitars and piano tracks make space for rich lyricism and the pleasant timbre of her voice to shine.

Throughout its 10 tracks, If I Saw You Again feels intimate and welcoming and gives listeners the chance to experience a laid-back 33-minute-long relatable experience.
