Grace Ives: Janky Star

The second studio album by the New York-based singer is out now.

Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Grace Ives has released her new album, Janky Star, a 27-minute-long project full of synthesizers, upbeat melodies, and self-reflective lyrics. The sophomore project from the artist comes three years after her debut album, 2nd, which got a surprisingly good review from Pitchfork upon its release in 2019.

Ives continues to impress critics and listeners with her succinct yet complete work, with ten rather short songs in unconventional rhythms and relatable lyrics.

Janky Star features the single Lullaby, and you can listen to the album here.
